Day-by-Day Itinerary

Sunday

Arrive at our Santa Monica hotel where you will be dazzled by the inviting Pacific Ocean. Nearby is the most iconic spot for visitors to Los Angeles, the Santa Monica Pier. Meet your fellow travelers over welcome drinks, then join us for dinner and watch the sun go down over your new favorite beach town.

Monday

Unleash your inner beach bum. Today you get to embrace the coastal vibes of Santa Monica by sunbathing by the rooftop pool, taking a stroll to Muscle Beach or starting your day with critter yoga (a California must-do). For those more adventurous, try surfing or paddle boarding lessons as an add-on. We’ll lunch overlooking the iconic Santa Monica Pier with a view as delicious as the food. In the afternoon, choose from a selection of activities including bike riding along the Strand, a hike with sea view, laying out at the beach or enjoy high-end shopping on the Third Street Promenade. All this and more within walking distance of our hotel.

Tuesday

Hollywood & WeHo

Pride Day starts on Hollywood Boulevard, where an exciting scavenger hunt along the Walk of Fame awaits you. Later, we encounter LGBTQ elders and the wonderful world of mutual care at the Los Angeles LGBT Center located in Hollywood.  Locals whisk you away on a  guided tour of Hollywood and Griffith Park, then on to a family-proud evening in West Hollywood.

Wednesday

Beverly Hills, Warner Brothers & Long Beach

Today is your day to be glam! Spend the morning experiencing Beverly Hills finding your family’s perfect glamor shot on Rodeo Drive. You'll be ready for your close up at Warner Brothers Studios Tour where you'll see where your favorite movies and TV shows are made. Then we head to our water-front resort in Long Beach where you will discover a laid-back, family-friendly vibe and endless activities within walking distance. Enjoy dinner overlooking the bay from Shoreline Village.

Thursday

Disneyland

Your family hasn't seen Pride until they see how Disney does Pride! From rainbow themed snacks and merchandise to special photo ops, the happiest place on earth will be more fabulous with a sprinkling of Pride. Even for those who think they’ve done Disney before, this day won’t disappoint.

Friday

We’ve packed in a lot of activities the past few days, so today you get the day off. Relax in a poolside cabana, stroll down to visit the historic Queen Mary or ride a bike across the bridge to visit the Aquarium of the Pacific and Long Beach’s Ocean Ave. There are jet ski rentals available from the dock at the hotel! Enjoy lunch at your leisure and soak up that California sunshine before a waterfront farewell dinner followed by our private end-of-tour party created just for you. We'll celebrate our final moments together because We Are Family!

Departure arrangements made for each family according to their departing flights and/or optional journey extensions.

    In order to reserve your spot, a non-refundable 25% deposit is due at time of booking. Final payment is due at least 90-days prior to departure date. Payments may be made via ACH or credit card. Charges may apply.

  • CANCELLATION POLICY

    You have the right to cancel your reservation with Better Angels Travel at any time prior to departure of the Trip.  However, regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly expenses, therefore a cancellation may result in a penalty fee that increases the closer the cancellation is to departure.  Fees vary between Trips.

    No refunds will be given for no-shows.

    CANCELLATION BY BETTER ANGELS TRAVEL

    We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any departure for any reason.  If we cancel, except in the case of extreme circumstances as detailed below, we will offer alternate arrangements.  We may at our sole discretion offer travel vouchers or refunds in accordance with our cancellation policy above.  You are responsible for any additional costs for air tickets or other travel arrangements not made by us.

  • Occasionally, Better Angels Travel will use photographs and / or video taken on tour by fellow guests, your Better Angels Travel Director or professional photographers for use in print, internet and other promotional purposes.  If you prefer that your image not be used in any marketing activities, please notify your Better Angels Travel Director at the start of your Trip.
